Hi, I am an American writer living in Lithuania . I am researching WWII information for a book I am doing on a British Spy , Eileen Burgoyne. Eileen was with CSDC after the war and aided in interpreting for German POW’s . Wes was assigned to stay in Germany as a part of the occupation forces until 1947. He was a part of the US group of allied forces cleaning up German records of German officers held captive for various reasons. He met a German woman Heidi [ Maiden name unknown]. She was familiar with Eileen\s work at CSDIC in Bad Nenndorf, Ger. In late December 1947, Wes was released back to the states. He arranged for Heidi to follow him shortly. They were married in the US on Christmas Eve 1947. If you have any information on his wife Heidi who died in the mid to late 1950’s, it would help me fill in key parts of the novel. She was a fashion designer and entertainer in Germany, and started Jay Dash Modeling and Dance Studios in Philadelphia in 1947-48. Thanks in advance, Will
