My dearest friends, as I look at the video and photos of your Jerry my heart is sad and I shed a tear ! The memory will never leave my mind and heart, the Final Salute was absolutely becoming of your oldest son. As time goes on the pain will ease but his memory will live on in his beautiful children.

Saturday’s celebration was a wonderful demonstration of gratitude for all the Veterans who attended the luncheon at the Brigantine Elks. I am sure that all of the Veterans who attended are as thankful as I am for the generosity and thoughtfulness we experienced at the Brigantine Elks on Saturday.

On behalf of my family, I want to extend our deepest gratitude for honoring my brother with such a dignified and respectful Marine Corps send-off. The ceremony was a beautiful tribute to his service and sacrifice, and it brought great comfort to us to see him honored with the traditions he so proudly upheld.

Your professionalism, compassion, and dedication to honoring a fellow Marine will never be forgotten. We are profoundly thankful for the care and respect shown to our brother and to our family during this difficult time.
